A Life Half-Forgotten
My newest comic is something a little different for me. It’s certainly my most literary effort. It's called A Life Half-forgotten, and it’s what I like to call a graphic memoir, dealing with growing up in Central Ohio suburbia during the 60s and 70s, as well as the vagaries of memory.

Memory is a funny thing. It’s random at best. Mostly we remember fragments, scattered over the years of our lives.

When did your life begin? Mine — or at least my first memory — began with a box of crayons.

I started out by remembering my idyllic, middle-class white suburban upbringing, and then, all of a sudden, all the forgotten traumas rose to the surface. Childhood happiness, freedom, and privilege were replaced by murder, divorce, and that true horror; junior high.

Available at Amazon, as well as Atlanta/Athens comic events I’ll be attending.
