I really enjoyed this. Your other things (especially Tale #9: The Saddest King Of All) are great too.

This was enchanting.
I loved the art. The seeming simplicity and crabbed writing and crossouts disarmed me; put me in an open, nonjudgemental mindset that's like when a kid shows you a picture they drew and starts explaining what's happening. The crayon-yness of it all belies the sophistication of the composition and how beautifully it furthers the storytelling.
And it's a fantastic story! It zagged where I expected it to zig until I stopped trying to anticipate it and just let myself float on the stream. I really loved it. Thank you for sharing this, dng.
