Incredible Doom
Today my friend Matt and I are finally launching a new web & print comic series we’ve been working on for almost a year. It’s about teenagers in the '90s getting into life & death situations over the early Internet.

The entire thing is free to read online — starting with Issue 1, posted today. And each issue will also be its own beautiful little hand-made printed comic, which can be bought on the site as well. Patreon backers can also read issue 2 (the whole thing!) right now, and print issues are mailed to them automatically.

We made a promotional video for it featuring Metafilter’s own Andy Baio and Josh Millard as well as Kirby Ferguson and many others. It’s the culmination of so much work and we really hope you like it.

Oh my god. This is amazing. I love the story, the art, everything. This feels like one of those comics I've been wanting to read my whole life.

Wow. That's really well done - story and art. Nice work. Those Pine screens especially took me back.

Right?! My first Pine interface was.. I think '94, on Teleport in Portland. I'd've been 13-14. Pine and a shell prompt define the start of my teen years.
