Liberty Tales
2015 marked the 800th anniversary of the first Magna Carta, and Liberty Tales is a collection of stories and poems that take a wide-ranging collection of responses to the issues of liberty, both personal and legal. Some of these 25 tales relate to specific clauses of the original document, while others are more concerned with how we experience and search after freedom in the 21st century.

I have a single story in this anthology (called The King And The Light), which was the first short story* I ever sold to anyone, although in the end it wasn't quite the first released, as last week I also had a story, The Reading, or Performance Anxiety, performed by the Liars' League in London.

There are also a number of launch events being held for this anthology at various bookshops and libraries around the UK. (I've added a couple to IRL - Greenwich and Colchester - which are the two I'm able to attend)

(*for adults, at least - as I had a picture book, Do Not Disturb The Dragon, come out a couple of years back)
