Veggie Burgers at Wendy's!?
Wendy's is testing veggie burgers at a 24 locations across 3 states. My friends and I made a website to let people know where they could get the new burger. Unfortunately the burgers aren't available nationwide yet, so we're working to convince HQ to make them more available.

I have wanted a veggie burger so badly for so long at Wendy's (I love their fries the best) that I will even settle for a black bean burger, that is how desperate I am. Of course, they haven't even begun testing the waters in Canada so I will have a while to wait yet.

Why, though, are they doing black bean burgers instead of soy- or gluten-based patties? If anyone knows, I'm sincerely curious. In my experience (and Wendy's might have a better recipe), black bean burgers a) smoosh out of the bun when you bite into them, b) end up tasting like a mouth full of starch, and c) people usually feel the need to make them spicy, which really limits the potential audience.
Have you tried this burger, thebigdeadwaltz? How is it?
