Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse with Android
A new take at "Getting Started with Android". Rather than yet-another-boring-screencast, we've interspersed it with a narrative story (involving zombies).
One of the biggest challenges in creating training material is capturing, and holding, people's attention. We also want to appeal to a diverse audience -- meaning a wide variety of training techniques and styles.
This is our latest experiment in new ways to present developer training material. Our hope is that developers will find it engaging and as fun to watch as it was to make :)
In the past I've tried blogging, authoring books, conference speaking, and MOOC training -- this project is the first in what will hopefully become a series of narrative driven guides to developing for Android.
