I like this. I particularly like the repeated / shifted characters. It'd be cool if you put the random number seed in the URL so I could share specific ones with friends.

I'm getting empty rectangles pretty frequently, like maybe I'm missing a font or something? Running Windows 7 and Firefox 9.0.1.

Looks like they're not really empty - they have little hex codes in them - like this

exogenous -- yeah, personally I don't mind the empty rectangles, as they're part of the aesthetics of Unicode (and sometimes create patterns I like. But if they're coming up too often, I would also install Quivira.

I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu, and I get taken to a warning page saying the app only renders properly in Firefox. My user-agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.24) Gecko/20111107 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.24"
