Bike 808
Still, I wonder what would happen if I duct-taped one of those little cameras to a spoke... I was motivated by sonascope's intriguing comment on my 808 car keys micro camera post, and here's the result: Bike 808. The ultrahip soundtrack is inspired by Trurl's illuminating "Syd Dale, Legend of Library" post from Saturday.

I found my 808's artistic sweet spot in low light, high speed compositions, where it lends a painterly or rotoscoped effect.

I recommend the 808 #11 for its true HD (1280x720) resolution, lack of timestamp, smarter battery charging, serviceable webcam mode, and digestible .mov video format.

This is fun! I like the Starry Starry Bike moment at 1:38.

Love it, and the music fits perfectly with the twitchy distortiness of the camera. Great piece, and I'm glad to have provided some of the inspiration.

That was nifty, cheers, especially liked the shot of the gears changing and the music. Makes a refreshing change from the usual 'in the grim future of bicycle commuting there is only war' bike-cam vids.

I liked your film :) It inspired me to go buy a similar camera, but I got a #3... if it works out well I might pick up a #11 later, but the little ten-dollar one I bought right now will do. Thanks!
