Huxtable Hotness
An episode-by-episode recap and critique of every outfit worn on "The Cosby Show."

On a whim, I started watching reruns of "The Cosby Show" on Netflix. After providing several of my friends with far too detailed a description of some of the outfits on the show, I realized I needed a different outlet for my obsession. So, now I blog about it.

The goal is to update once a week, and more frequently than that when time allows. Given the number of episodes, it'll take years to complete. I hope I'm up to the task.

I really like the approach you take here, but it looks like an awful lot of work: doing a Mallory's Clothes-style blog, but with actual, intelligent sartorial commentary for eight seasons? Maybe a test run with My So-Called Life or Twin Peaks might have been advisable?

Regardless, I think this is all about the execution, which you pull off quite well. The even tone and eye for detail (like how the length of Vanessa's skirt affects the outfit, or Cliff's red socks) is entertaining and informative.

I also spent way too much time reading this, and LOL'd when I got to the line "I can't believe you're still reading this". I was still reading it because it's funny! That Claire Huxtable loves her some blues!

Great job with this; I only wish it were about a show I actually care about. I'd love to see Seinfeld get this treatment.

This is great! Very funny. Unfortunately I am in China, where blogspot is blocked :( (I can access it thruough a proxy server, when the proxy server is working).
