A New Spin on Buy Nothing Day (aka Black Friday)
One of the writers for my blog launched a business today that I think is hysterical and genius and I thought Metafilter readers might agree. It's one part social experiment one part start-up. If you've heard of Black Friday, the official launch of the Christmas shopping season, you've probably heard of the backlash holiday Buy Nothing Day. Enter ShopNothing.com, where you can actually purchase Nothing. Yes, it's kind of ridiculous but it's also kind of awesome. Is it really a worse use for your money than a snuggie?

This post was deleted for the following reason: Projects is for your own work, not your friend's stuff -- mathowie

That site needs a tally of how much nothing has been sold.
