Adam For Alameda
I am running for City Council in Alameda, California. There are two open seats, and I think I have a good shot at winning! Due to corruption, cronyism and other mismanagement plaguing our city, I have decided to step up and offer my services to the community. Your support is gratefully appreciated!

I live in Oakland, and wouldn't mind helping out. I'm in the Coast Guard, and a shitload of us live Alameda. I accept Hawaiian Drive In as payment.

Well, I can't offer payment of any kind, but I go right by CG Island a lot… good biking and photography, and a really good tea place (Numi) right near the entrance. I was an avid sailor as a kid but to tell the truth, I haven't been sailing once on the Bay. I have taken the ferries, especially to Giants games- what a great idea that is.

The campaign has gotten quite interesting since I last posted. There are now eight of us vying for the two seats.
My particular campaign seem to have struck a nerve with the powers that be with my quest to bring transparency, openness and the voice of the citizens back to municipal government. It seems that my biggest foe is turning out to be the city democratic club, which is anything but Democratic.
Here are two articles that ran today on local news sites about the CADC's attempts to exclude my campaign, and remove my materials from their public voter registration table while allowing other materials to stay.
