Alt History Science Fiction Is The Best Fiction.
Along with artist Molly Crabapple, I have a brand new project debuting at Zuda Comics, Puppet Makers, a sprawling alt-historical murder mystery set at Versailles with lots of huge robots. Updates every Wendesday
Extra Credit: Me being interviewed about it.

I have been watching the new Who but—and this will get me hate letters from fangirls the world over—I wasn’t a huge fan of David Tennant so I missed the episode when it came out.
You're damn right. Here's your first hate letter: eff you, Leavitt!
Just kidding. This is cool. And I like the name of your link, since the mister always tries to tell me that Alt History is not SF.

Some alt history is science fiction, some isn't. Both are speculative fiction. As with most genre definitions they are best nuked from orbit (it's the only way we can be sure).

Way to go Whelk! That's some gorgeous work. The interface is a pain in the eee but the art is worth it.
