Bing-Bong! As part of the Chrome Experiments series, I wrote a Breakout/Arkanoid-style game called Bing-Bong! entirely in Javascript (no Flash-etc). This is the second real thing I've ever done in Javascript (the first was this experimental gallery site) and I was surprised how easy it was to create "software" inside the browser without using any plugins like Flash. This is cool. Nice artwork, and the extra features you've added to the game work well. This is the first time I've seen the concept of gravity introduced in breakout, and the power too.
For me the game runs poorly in Firefox (choppy movements of both the ball and blocks) but that may be unique to me, and partly due to the ten other tabs I have open, because it runs smoothly in IE. Great work. posted by trueluk at 7:23 AM on April 15

Funny, for me it runs smooth in Firefox but badly in IE.
