Colliding Particles - Hunting the Higgs
A series of online films following a team of physicists involved in research at the new particle collider, the LHC, at CERN in Switzerland. The project will follow the team for 2 years, documenting their work at the frontiers of particle physics as they attempt to find the Higgs Boson, AKA 'The God Particle'.

The LHC is being turned on for the first time on 10 September. The project is intended as an engaging exploration of the scientific process for a wide audience, and also includes teaching resources to use the films in the classroom. This is my first internet film project, and it would great to hear your feedback.

Great execution. As with any ongoing series, it would be great to have an RSS feed for updates.

This is great. As an ex-physicist I'll be following the whole thing with interest. Do you have a reference for the article? (ArXiv link ideally...)

Like FissionChips said above, awesome execution.

I'd like to pass this along to some cow-orkers, but their English isn't too strong. Are there any (Spanish) subtitles available?

Hello and thanks. Do you work in a dairy? :) I'd love to have different languages available, but unfortunately I just don't have the time or the budget at the moment - really sorry.

Just found this via an FPP in the blue. It would be nice if there was an RSS feed for this. I don't give out my email address.

This is a great series. It constantly surprises me by revealing aspects of the project that hadn't occurred to me e.g. the latest episode on funding - Collidonomics. Thanks gravelshoes and good luck for November.

So, all finished. Good luck with getting a feature film happening.

Yay. Watched the last two episodes yesterday.

I didn't realise that mefi-projects stayed open indefinitely. Perhaps they're less contentious than posts on the blue!
