HearWhere.com - Find Live Music Anywhere
I've been working on this site for just about 1.5 months and finally have it to a point I'm happy with. HearWhere has concert listings for more than 1 million shows around the world. Indies and the majors, and most importantly, HearWhere plays the clips from artists to you can actually hear what they sound like and decide what show to go to. Filter by genre, etc. etc. More features to come of course...

You apparently have coverage in the city in Poland where I'll be working in the fall, in English, so you get my vote! This is soooooo perfect!

Very nice mashup, maybe needs a bit of refinement design wise but great start. Would definitely use (although you may find yourself competing with something like last which has a brilliant event recommendation system/integration with ical etc).
Good Luck!

It sounds neat, but I can't get the page to load and ping fails about 25% of the time. Maybe the problem is on your end?

This is fantastic, but I think your location algorithm needs some tweaking - one of the bands in my first list is actually playing 55km away from my search city.

This just blew my mind and answered this question in the best way possible.

Hoping the community can help me out here.
I created an iPhone version of hearwhere at iphone.hearwhere.com, problem is, I don't have an iPhone, and apparently don't know anybody who does.
The nearest dealer of an iPhone or even ipod touch is a few hours drive away.
I was going to post this as a new project, but I just used my 'one project per month' limit the other day (doh!).
Any chance somebody can check out the iphone.hearwhere.com site on an iPhone or iPod Touch and let me know how it goes?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
(and i wouldn't complain about getting onto the main page either ;) )
Thanks,
Pete

Hey, is there a way to select multiple genres at once?
