The Solar Nerd
In which I nerdily compile everything you might want to know if you are planning to stick solar panels on your roof or your backyard. If you already have panels and a supported inverter, you can join the community and your inverter data will show up automatically, and people can you ask you stuff.

Geeky Librarian things (mostly)
Launching my store dedicated to geeky librarian things! Starting out with some desk signs in a variety of constructed languages (Klingon, Quenya, etc) that say "Librarian", perfect for that geeky information warrior in your life.

Metafilter Leaderboard
I've been playing around with this API that I was making for kind of a joke Metafilter-filter extension (I have since shelved the filterer). Since I'm not planning on finishing Metafilter-filter, I wanted to still do something with the API, so I've hooked it up to this website!

Tiny Skulls and otherwise
Recently I've been sculpting tiny skulls and leaving them out in public as free art for people to find and claim.

An Impractical Key Cabinet
My first automaton! A clockwork cabinet built mostly for fun and whimsy, but I thought it would be nice to make it slightly practical as well.

Dan Fuehring Lives On
In October 2015, my father and frequent Metafilter contributor Dan Fuehring (better known as Danf) died of cancer. One of his (many) great loves in life was music. You may remember him posting some of his compositions on Mefi Music. I have finally finished cataloguing, publishing and creating an online archive of his music recordings.

Experience Vermont as a local, through interviews and tours
We want to introduce folks to the amazing artists and craftspeople that call Vermont home, and I’ve been interviewing them in a new YouTube series. I (and sometimes terrapin) also share a weekly tip or recipe from our own craft hobbies, primarily brewing, cooking, knitting, and dyeing. This week’s videos feature an interview with MeFi’s own Jessamyn West, and her tutorial on making your own mossarium.

I made a Blockchain
Cryptocurrency is our future, there's no doubt about it. So I set out to make my own Blockchain, which required mining some coin, which I call JimCoin™. Some smart people invested early and before long the chain was growing.

Box breathing box
I wanted a device for box breathing, the technique where you breath in/hold/out/hold for 4 seconds. A device that wasn't a phone or computer. I built one, out of wood, plexiglas, metal, transistors, and a tiny bit of code. Then gave it the photo studio treatment, shared the code, and wrote about the experience.

Inauguration Livestream
I felt like I should build a little web resource for the big day, and so: inaugurationlivestream.com.

Two Asians talk about all of this shit.
Race Invaders is a podcast hosted by myself and my friend Tim Yang, in which we discuss social justice, politics, culture, and probably more geek shit than is necessary, but we like it.

xn--qeiaa.ws: Emoji Domain Registration
Domains can be more than just letters and numbers. Most people have no idea they can just type a bunch of hearts in their address bar and go to a domain... and yet, it works!

Travels With Brindle
As many of you know, I play the ukulele. I got a public performance license for the MBTA this year and set a goal to play at all 63 of the T stations with performers' areas between now and 28 May 2017.

The Corey Press
I've just completed a major revamp of my website, The Corey Press, where I keep all my weird wooden blockprints. Need some medieval alien abductions? Done! Old school Pokemon battles? Sure! More Cthulhu Mythos than you can shake a stick at? You betcha. I'm really proud of my newest piece, a Mothman-inspired ouija board.
