Create your own 1980s police sketch
I recently came across some old abandoned police sketch software for Macintosh systems from the 1980s. I've wrapped it up in a web-based emulator and now you can play with it in your browser. Make your own face sketches.

Oh man, the fact that it's 80s abandonware explains a lot; at first I was like "man odinsdream is going for an A E S T H E T I C with these hair options", heh. I'm delighted you resurrected this.

It was a fun bit of tech to resurrect. All the facial components are stored as like, 50 different font files. First I had to create a disk image that worked with this PCE emulator, which involved a bunch of hassle, then I had to get System 6 installed which required a second emulator, and then a third emulator to get the files moved over to that final disk image.

Then a whole mess of configuration to get it to run right in the browser.

It was worth it. Thanks for the System 6 bootup nostalgia, as well.

"Welcome to Macintosh" :)

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go make a new profile picture
