tree is a content-focused social network (with standalone browser extensions to save and share on the fly): you follow people within categories so as to only get exposed to content that matters to you. You can choose to follow people in music, or in technology, or in news & society...
The gist is to leverage on the routines of people with different centers of interest to surface the best content (because we can't always afford to spend the required time to find such content).
Users focus on their own centers of interests and are part of a collective mind that surfaces the best of the internet.
We are 2 (one back-end engineer and one front-end engineer) and launched tree last week! :)
