Michael A. Arnzen: Purveyor of the Uncanny
This is a four-minute Ken-Burns-style microdocumentary I made about Seton Hill University's Michael A. Arnzen, four-time Bram Stoker Award winner and the twisted mind behind gorelets.com.
This all started as a class assignment in which I had to design a press/promotional kit for an artist or similar creative type, so I e-mailed Mike to see if he'd be interested in being my subject. Long story short, the project went great, and I ended up making a chapbook of his horror poetry, a promotional brochure, and a handful of other odds and ends. The video was really an afterthought. Here's a gallery of the other parts of the project.
