Alaskan art for those who don't do wildlife scenery or Sarah Palin
I've recently started selling prints of my work. I'd love to get feedback from MeFites.

For those of you who want to sell prints of photographs or artwork, I use a middleman company called FotoMoto. So far, it's been extremely easy and the reception from my buyers has been positive. Enjoy.

I'm no art critic but I like the style of a great many of these. The images are the draw in some, while the combination of words and colors and images are great in others. I like Raven in Blue. Something "burdenous" about that scene. Corvid's Epiphany #1 called me back to this shirt that almost functions as a mathematical derivative, that I was never able to buy. The Groeneveld Family is great. Makes my feet colder than they are right now. Somehow makes me miss the winter I was already sick of.

Site-wise, the right-click restrictions are a bit 1998 for me, but I understand the need to protect the work from people who that protection could stop from copying your work. Hopefully your fellow artists will give you more of the type of tips you're looking for. I like your style.

Glad you posted this to projects, madred! I just purchased one of these prints to go over my mantel. We live in an old brownstone with rooms caked in white-white coats of paint, so I was looking for bright art for the wall. I got Color Study #3 because it reminded me of the quilts from my childhood in North Carolina.

thanks, cashman for the kudos. i don't miss the winter one bit (things are warming up in fairbanks) and most of these paintings were done as a cure against the monochrome blues i get up here when there are only 3 hours of daylight left.

and zoomorphic, thanks for buying! every time a person buys a print, she keeps me working in my studio for one more day. and that's all i ever hope for...just one more day to paint.

Just an FYI, but I can't view the art on the iPhone.

What?! I will try to fix that asap. I'm in my iPhone now and it never dawned on me to check. Dear god thank you for that reminder. I loathe idiots who don't consider the iPhone when creating websites. The hippocracy...

Yeah the right-click thing is very easy to get around (it took me about 10 seconds to block rightprotect.js using AdBlock Plus and reload), and it's annoying for people like me who use the right-click context menu for navigation and other uses.

tried to turn off the right-click, but Foliolink doesn't allow me to control that feature. geeks can get around it and i guess my thoughts were that it would keep cheapskates (mostly my family members) from simply downloading my images and printing them off on their home computers. they have money. they can buy a damn print! i give them plenty of free artwork at christmas.

i'll try to find out how to fix it but for now folks will just have to be annoyed.
