A little investigation of Happy Science
Surprising news came out of Japan yesterday: the political party fielding the most candidates for this fall's election is not one of the two major parties, but a newcomer called the "Happiness Realization Party". This party is a front group organized and administered by a new religion called Happy Science, which is venturing into politics for the first time. As of yet nobody has provided a detailed explanation of Happy Science in English.

I have a personal familiarity with this group so I've written up an introduction. This article will be the first in the series of four about Happy Science and the Happiness Realization Party-- but only if people actually care about this subject. Otherwise I will move on to other topics!

I'm getting their pamphlets in my letter box and quite frankly all the airbrushing on them is terrifying!
