Doomed To Repeat: A consultancy offering long-term perspectives on social change, markets, and technology
I'm involved in this brand-new consultancy, which offers long-term perspectives on social change, markets, and technology--in the hopes that corporate and for-profit clients will find such background useful in developing projects and ideas.
We take "big questions"--about the history of mobility, about how the brain works--and ask scholars to develop brief, accessible answers that incorporate the latest thinking and make it directly relevant to the world outside of the ivory tower. We've had a small dry run with clients at an Institute for the Future conference, so we know there's a market. How can we better describe what we do and why it's important? Feedback on the language we use and the site design we're using so far would be great. (We already know the video quality needs to be higher.)
