doge for all: make doges with ease.
A friend and I were sitting around lamenting the lack of decent shibe/doge generators out there on the internet. So we decided to make our own. http://dogeforall.biz/.

- Click to make new text blurb.
- Change font size/color.
- Use a custom background.
- Upload direct to imgur.

wow.

Ad Astra
Ad Astra is the fourth free EP of 2013 from The Harvey Girls. For it we wrote a play depicting a day in the life of an office worker who meets the weirdness and annoyances of the world with imagination. Full of sound effects and songs, the play Ad Astra is an updated radio play of sorts meant to transport the listener from their everyday office (or any other) job. The play includes fellow mefites melissa may and cortex as characters and musicians! The EP is rounded out by the tunes within the play itself, eight in total. So grab it for free at our bandcamp page.

Pizza Clones
You've heard this one: "Every pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard and believe in yourself." Pizza Clones is a Twitter bot that attempts to imitate this joke and elaborate on it, replacing the noun, adjective and condition with stuff it randomly finds on Twitter. Examples: "Every house is an open house unless you have NO pants on"; "Every weekend is a normal weekend if you regret at least one decision"; "Every time is an appropriate time if it wasn't for my aunt Barbara."

The Sometime Seminar Podcast
DaDaDaDave and I have a podcast of quasi-academic critical discussion, in which we talk at length about literature and sometimes other media. We're keeping a special eye on contemporary culture, but we'll also talk about stuff from the 18th and 19th and 20th centuries, in fiction whether highbrow or genre, poetry, and (largely Continental) philosophy. And we've taken occasional excursions into film and other media, from Dwarf Fortress to Django Unchained to MOOCs. We're trying for an eclectic mix of high and low culture, veering from difficult poetry to Game of Thrones and back again.

Holladay EP for Free
The Harvey Girls (the band my wife and I are) have released our third of four free EPs this year. You can check out the other two at our bandcamp page as well. I've also created a couple of vids for the songs "Red Plastic Chairs" and "Jittery Anne". Thanks for listening!

Attack The Darkness
Attack the Darkness is a table-top role-playing game, a deck-building game, and a card-drafting game all rolled into one. Your character is your deck; your cards are everything that character is and everything they can do. Designed to be simple in its components yet complex in its combinations, Attack the Darkness allows for the speed and excitement of a collectible trading card game while granting the tactics and intricacies of a table-top RPG. Designed for 1-8 players, it features 7 unique classes and supports play either with or without a GM.

Saucy vacation tips from Franklin the Ladies' Cat

Gametron 7000
Gametron 7000 (GT7K) is a web-based game-building toolkit, designed and built by myself for use in non-programming-centric game design classes I've been teaching in NYC. It's almost all visual (no coding) and allows non-tech-savvy game creators to make fairly simple 2D sprite-based games. Even though it's a little rough around the edges, hopefully it's fun to use!

Waeguk.in
Waeguk-in is (a romanization of) the Korean expression that means 'foreigner,' and that's what I am. The site is Wonderchicken Industries™ newest entry into Korea blogging for fun and no profit whatsoever. I've dismantled my old neglected Korea-focused site and built a shiny new one devoted more to fun and interesting Korea-related stuff and less to turgid essays. If you're interested in Korea, come and have a look, or just follow @iamthewaegukin for updates.

Concordance Poems
Recently, I've been using concordances of poems in my teaching and presenting, and have been surprised at the new poems that emerge from the rearranged works. I started a single-topic tumblr to document some of my favorites.

Badly Drawn Videogames using MS Paint
I was bored one day and started sketching out some old computer/video games screen shots in MS Paint. Somebody suggested I put them on a tumblr, which I did, then promptly forgot about it again until now.
