One Year - Time Lapse
I have been fascinated with time lapse for a long time, and conceived of this project before we purchased the property that would eventually become Terrapin Gardens Farm — even proclaiming in a thread on MetaFilter that I would one day make this film. So, I kinda had to.

Home of the Underdogs
Basically a modern version of Home of the Underdogs. Full database imported, user comments, user added reviews, user ratings, community all integrated. It's still ongoing, and will hopefully get more polished as time goes on. Downloads are still forthcoming.

Promoting the survival and continuance of the Navajo-Churro
My neighbor raises the rare-breed, Navajo-Churro sheep here in Vermont. In addition to stewarding the breed, she also processes the wool and sells the fiber in various forms. I helped her move her site and domain, redesigned the look, and put the site on Wordpress so she can continue to manage it on her own. Navajo-Churro wool is very strong and durable which is why the Navajo native Americans used it for their famous rugs. It is great for socks too!

The most frequently cited books on Human Relations from Ask.MetaFilter
I counted every amazon link on every single question and answer page (5,427 pages) from the human relations category of Ask.MetaFilter. This spans more than five years worth of advice. The results are pretty interesting. I also did this for the work & money category.

Phil Jern Photos
I've created a website to display and, potentially down the road, sell my photography. I'd welcome constructive feedback from any and all of you!

Greenvoice
I recently finished a complete redesign of the environmental campaigning site Greenvoice. It's a free site that helps people establish a web presence for their campaign, and encourages them to use wikis, blogs and discussion forums to involve the community. It also provides free campaigning tools like petitions, pledges, and event organisation.

What I Had for Dinner Tonight
Not recipes, just conversation, this blog arose from a daily ichat conversation between two foodies on different continents, which then spread further into the #mofirc irc channel... and someone *looks innocent* joked hey maybe we should start a blog..... and What I Had for Dinner Tonight was born. Your host is es el Queso - long time member of Monkeyfilter, and one keen cook. Posters come from a range of backgrounds, cooking skill sets and countries. The concept is simple - tell us what you had for dinner. Whether you cooked it, someone else cooked it or the guy down the road cooked it - have no reservations about joining in and telling us.

Mixed States
I got tired of trying to keep up with all the blogs by scientists I read and I knew other people were missing out on a lot of great stuff. So, I did the only thing a sensible person would do and wrote an aggregator. Enjoy the work of physicists at Mixed States, of biologists at Recombinants and of computer scientists at Upper Bounds. Of course, there's MetaMixed, concerning the state of the aggregates, and there's the a nice place to send me other science blogs you know. And, finally, there's a feed for each of the aggregates, if you're feeling crazy.

Quail Hunting School for Dick
A little game I made and put up last week in honor of VP Dick's hunting "accident". OBJECTIVE: Shoot 10 quail without shooting Harry and you get a Certificate of Completion that you can print . Or just shoot the crap out of Harry.
