Some of my early AskMeFi questions were about medical writing as an alternative career for someone with a science PhD. I followed the advice in that post and was then able to get fulltime jobs at medical communications companies. Later, I eventually transitioned away from those fulltime jobs into freelance medical writing. As a way of “paying it forward,” I’ve created a blog for people who may have similar questions and have posts that answer questions such as “How do you get hired at a medical communications company” or “How can you find clients for a freelance medical writing business?” [more inside]
