The Fix - Everything We Think We Know About Drugs and Addiction is Wrong.

Samuel L. Jackson narrates this fast-paced, provocative series that upends everything you think you know about addiction—from why we use drugs to how they’re brought to market. Adapted from Johann Hari’s best selling book, “Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs” and celebrated Ted Talk, "The Fix" exposes the true history of the war on drugs and its impact worldwide. The Man Who Left

The Man Who Left is a short fairy tale about a man sent to war, forced to fight incomprehensible battles in unknowable places for increasingly unclear reasons, who has become so weary and distraught by this life of constant toil and terror that it is only his dreams of returning to his wife and child that keep him sane. It's the 150th (and final) tale in my Thousand And One Tales project (previously on projects: 1, 2, 3, 4), which I originally planned to keep up for another 851 stories, but in the end failed spectacularly to do so. But still I tried... [more inside]

War in Heaven

This is an ongoing project, documenting what has been termed the “War in Heaven”, mentioned in the Bible and other texts, like “Paradise Lost”. Links to 2 books I’ve written about the War as well as other of my sites on the subject. It’s not for everyone—it’s really out there, to tell you the truth. But welcome to my life.

Service Ribbons in CSS

Service ribbons commemorate a soldier's participation in war, campaign or battle starting with the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. Ribbons are made of cloth and steel. This project is about creating them with HTML & CSS.

Tales from the Krampus Corps

The Krampus Corps were called "terrorists" for rebelling against the North Pole regime during the War on Christmas, against the chains put on them. I may be the last surviving "hornless brother". And before the regime sends a tiny green & red assassin for me, I want the truth about our revolution (and the horrors the War on Christmas showed me) to be known. [more inside]

Remembering Forgotten Soldiers of the Somme

If you purchase anything from the Royal British Legion online, they send you a card with the name of a random ordinary soldier who died in the Battle of the Somme with it. When people tell me those names, I find out stuff about them. [more inside]

War in Heaven

This is an ongoing project, in blog form. It involves my experiences with the War in Heaven as described in the Book of Revelation. I've written two books about it. You don't have to believe in any of it to find it an interesting read, I don't think. Rationally, I feel someimes like a UFO abductee when I talk about what happened to me. And I'm not going to say, "I know what I saw," but rather, "What the heck do you think it was?!" Really, it goes beyond crazy. See for yourself. [more inside]

Memoirs from the War in Heaven

College student drops acid on a Friday night, and gets caught up in the mythical War in Heaven. A war in eternity. It's most probably not like anything you'd imagine. Off and on for the next 25 years he's in it, not to know at any real level what it was, exactly, that he'd been caught up in, not till near the very end of it. Like a spirit that from time to time takes over his life, like a fugue. And which at the end it all comes together. This is a true story, as best as could be recollected. Too strange to be fiction.

The Grove

A few years ago I inherited a Prohibition-era portrait of my ancestors. As I researched who was in it and where it was taken, unknown relatives began to emerge with historical detail and an alternate version of that very portrait. Questions remain. So I'm hoping that more descendants come out of the electronic woodwork.

Close Guantanamo Bay

In response to this post, I have started a website and petition. I refuse to give up and just let this news be one more thing that depresses me and makes me feel powerless. I'm trying to do something for the better. Try with me!
