Every five years, in the Bulgarian village of Koprivshtitsa, over 15,000 performers and 250,000 spectators gather to celebrate the national music and folklore of Bulgaria. This Orgy consists entirely of original recordings made on location during the 2010 festival, featuring hundreds of songs from every folkloric region of Bulgaria as well as field recordings made around the town. It will be broadcast on WHRB Cambridge, 95.3 fm, from 5 am until 11 am EST, and streamed over the web at http://whrb.org.
