The Lifecycle Of A Singular Organism (and other short animations)
I've recently been trying to make a short piece of animation a day. Most are under a minute, but a few are a little longer. The Lifecycle Of A Singular Organism (stopmotion, 3m3s); Who Of Ourselves Should Be Ashamed (stopmotion, 58 seconds); Risk Reward (stopmotion, 1m8s); A Circle And A Square (text animation, 30 seconds); The Collusion Of Artifice (stopmotion, 41 seconds); Manipulations of Perspective (stopmotion, 1m13s). There's also (many more) inside: [more inside]

Live / Play: League of Legends documentary
What do an autoline fisherman in Iceland, a robot maker in Korea, a costume designer in Brazil, an intern in Egypt and an aspiring professional gamer in the US by way of Canada have in common? They are the five players, from a monthly user-base of 70 million, featured in Live/Play - a 38 minute documentary film I directed and edited about League of Legends players around the globe. In the interest of full disclosure, yes, this film was funded by Riot Games but I got the thumbs up to post it here.
Midnight Rider - A short film
I recently published my short story collection American Death Songs. "Midnight Rider," starring Ryan Hurst (Opie from Sons of Anarchy), is a filmed monologue of the collection's opening short story, the tale of a stoned man being chased by the cops when he lets the radio decide his fate. It's a funny, sad, weird ride.
Directed by Nina Corrado, music by Blake Neely.
"Tank Flintlock"
A short spoof of Escape From New York, created for the Fantastic Fest 2012 Bumper Contest.
"Butterfly System" - our entry to a 48 hour film festival
Recently, a couple of hundred teams in London were given 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a 5 minute science fiction film. This is our entry... what do you think? [more inside]
Palate Spasms: No Laughing Matter
I edited and filmed a short film about a strange symptom of my ladyfriend's Multiple Sclerosis. It's entered in the Neurological Film Festival, which has a Fan Voting prize, so if people like it and want to vote for it you can do so here. It's the first thing I've ever shot and edited!
