Kennan, one of the key US strategists of the early Cold War (Long Telegram, X Article, Marshall Plan, occupation of Japan), later a diplomatic historian and prolific writer. US government documents are public domain, so I've been transcribing and posting documents written by Kennan that have been published in the Foreign Relations of the United States series. Of interest to students of the Cold War and US foreign policy.
