Hermit Crabs of Paradise Cove, Vanuatu
I lived in Vanuatu for 4+ months pre-pandemic and was intrigued by the variety of Hermit Crabs on the beach. I decided to photograph them. These are my favorites.

When I travel, I tend to find something abundant and seemingly-mundane to photograph. In Spain it was Orange Grove Tool Sheds and Utility Boxes of Oliva (previous Project). Here, it's Hermit Crabs.

Very cool. I had a friend who was in the Peace Corp in Vanuatu and she loved it. She made no mention of the hermit crabs!

Vanuatu has the world's most potent kava kava or so I have read.

y2karl, your lips literally go numb before you've had a chance to swallow. Tastes like mud, though.
