Twack: Slack Interface for Twitter
If Twitter were built today, it would be designed from the beginning with chat in mind. Screenshot

Instead of an algorithm-based news feed, Twitter would have a chat room with everyone's status updates. With Twack, the people you follow now become channels similar to the channels on Slack. Twack has made me fall in love again with Twitter, and I hope you do too.

Twack is a reboot of my prior project, Tameline.

This is so cool! I've avoided Twitter thus far, in part due to its jumbled nature, but this might just get me on board.

@lalex Right now it doesn't auto-refresh but that is on my TODO list if I can get enough traction for this thing!

Some updates:
  • Now it shows unread counts!
  • Twitter permissions are now read-only for those of you concerned about privacy
  • Reducing permissions does mean no more in-line Compose Tweet box
More coming soon

Okay, a few more things:
  • Now it caches your tweets if you close the browser
  • Now you can load more tweets. Useful if you follow a lot
