The Corey Press
I've just completed a major revamp of my website, The Corey Press, where I keep all my weird wooden blockprints. Need some medieval alien abductions? Done! Old school Pokemon battles? Sure! More Cthulhu Mythos than you can shake a stick at? You betcha. I'm really proud of my newest piece, a Mothman-inspired ouija board.

It looks great!

Also, do you have any plans on printing the VOLO CREDERE t-shirt on something that isn't Gildan? Or, like, can I like mail you a t-shirt and money?

In theory, once I break even on the VOLO CREDERE shirts, I'll look in to doing another run on different shirts. Women's sizes have been requested so we'll see what my printer can do.

That Pokémon battle is so going on our wall!

I love this stuff! That Ouija board is inspired. A few nitpicky notes

- are you trying to be sort of anonymous on this, because I clicked About and learned very little about you other than what was on the main page
- the bold on the top nav looks like it maybe doesn't work with the font, it seems overbold
- also maybe link the story straight to Etsy, otherwise the non-underline meant I almost missed the aactual link to your store. Can you embed any Etsy items on that page?

Thanks for the notes - I've put in a straight up link to my Etsy shop in the main Nav. I'm not great at SquareSpace so am unsure how to reduce the boldness or worse, that giant gap of blank space between the Nav and the content on the Home page.

As for the About stuff, I was doing a bit for awhile that presented my artist persona as being a nutjob which I wanted to keep distinct from my actual self in this age of interviewers googling candidates. I'm moving away from that presentation to a bit more honest representation of myself, but there are still some lingering threads of vagueness, including that Artist Statement-ish About page. You're right that I should probably take another pass at that.
