As I was yet again renewing a domain I hadn't done anything with, I decided maybe I'd do something with it. This is a little one-pager about mossariums. It has some instructions, a few pictures and, of course, a reading list.

This is really cool! I've been wondering how to add some green to my poorly-lit bedroom and this sounds like a great way to do it. I love the simple steps and all the lovely example photos.

These are very charming and the low-maintenance thing is appealing.

I've been wanting to do this for ages as I have some green moss ready for collecting in my back yard.
Now have to find a suitable glass jar with stopper, like a pasta jar.
Thanks again!

So I just harvested some moss during my gutter cleaning. Is there any reason I can't just toss this plug of moss + the inch or so of dirt and pea gravel it was growing on into a jar? The moss was good and healthy in my gutter growing on this stuff.

I've always done the spanish moss layer to keep it from just turning soggy. Like you want the moss to stay damp but not wet, but try it and see what happens?
