Merchant banker Alex Masterley is a greedy, ruthless, arrogant snob. No wonder Peattie & Taylor's daily cartoon strip about him has been a constant hit in Britain's national newspapers for over 25 years. Few people realise, however, that the duo once also produced a spin-off series about Alex's financial advisers, which published 80 original strips over its three-year run. I played a (very) small role in making that spin-off strip happen, and this is its story.

I'd love to consider a project like that but ultimately it's up to Peattie & Taylor, the strip's two creators and owners. If the current PlanetSlade article generates enough interest to suggest people want to see more of Chetwynde Associates, I'll certainly approach them with the idea.
