Every Bond movie, reviewed in order, mostly on Sundays
My James Bond knowledge has always been spotty. I'm fixing it by watching every James Bond movie every other Sunday (hence the name of the blog) and blogging about it.

Each review covers the following categories:

Plot in twenty words or less:
How it’s aged:
Something that was just weird and/or WTF y’all:
Obligatory feminist commentary:
Completely hypothetical cultural reference points:
Superficial Thing that did not Amuse Me:
Superficial Thing that highly Amused Me:
Interesting and possibly dubious thing I learned from Wikipedia:

...I'm also delving into the world of Bond-fandom as well as academic writings on the Bond films and tying them in to my own reactions where I can. It's been pretty fun so far, I just completed the Goldfinger review and am preparing to review Thunderball next.

There are 23 EON Bond films, so this will take me just about a year to do. I may tackle the non-EON films and the Ian Fleming novels if I'm still into it a year from now.

Are you going to talk about "Never Say Never Again"?

Or the original Casino Royale? Whatever you do, don't miss that one.

I'll tackle non-EON films after I'm done with all the "official" EON-produced films first - assuming I still have the energy a year from now.
