All the Saints You Should Know
I've been photographing and cataloging saint's relics, incorrupt bodies, and skeletons for the past few years. I have a backlog of over 40 but I'm starting to blog about them here.

This is terrific. I love relics and find them fascinating, so seeing a first-hand account of the ones that are out there is a great resource.

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in this but me. I'm currently working on adding annotated maps of Rome, Prague and Paris.

Oh my god! This is what I did on my last trip to Rome! You went to Santa Maria dell'Orazione e Morte! Will you be my friend?(Kidding. Mostly.)

Do you have San Giovanni dei Battista Fiorentina, on Via Giulia in Rome? Mary Magdalene's foot encased in silver. Also, a huge wall of relics that includes the skeleton of a child saint in a glass case.

And how awesome are the silver arm-shaped cases of Sts. Matthew and Luke at Santa Maria Maggiore?

Finally, a random question: Do you know what the random boxes of skulls are at Santa Maria della Vittoria on the way to the shop? Don't you think they should label stuff like that?

I love your blog!

Purpleclover, we can totally be friends. I've been to San Giovanni and Maria Maggiore... I'm just so backed up on posts right now. Have you been to see the relics near you? The missions have relics of Sts. Clare, Anthony of Padua, and Francsis.

This blog is great--going to be sharing it with some of my tour-guide friends in Rome.

I'd like to think it was my facebook prodding that's led to all the new views.
