Ground Ads - The Advertising Phenomena Of The Near Future
I started this site at the beginning of the year in response to a couple of things I'd seen about people making ground markings to be seen in services like Google Earth. Maxim were in the news recently with their massive poster of an anniversary cover in the middle of a US desert. It inspired me to make this site which both poked fun at marketing folk and speak, and a place to post links about ongoing earth vandalism stories. I only recently finished it as I had other things spring up. In the meantime, reality is starting to make it look already obsolete with a couple of stories that already point to this nonsense increasing.
