Definitive Jest
Definitive Jest is a vocabulary-building and SNOOT-approved word-of-the-day blog centered around David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest

Infinite Jest is, in my mind, a nearly-incomparable novel. It is rich and dense, and also initially challenging. The determined reader, however, is well-rewarded for her/his efforts. Plot-structure complications aside, one of these difficulties is the work's extremely erudite vocabulary.

As I re-read Infinite Jest, I've noted interesting or unusual words. These words form the content of Definitive Jest.

Not sure if it's kosher for me to comment on my own project or not.

If anyone here enjoys doing up banner-type graphics/logos and wants to do something simple for the site, I'd be more than happy to promote you/your work by way of compensation.

I've been told the sight design is plain - which is, I think, pretty accurate.

I love this...

I would love more a twitter account that alerted me to new postings in the form of:

@definitivejest word - brief definition - link to blog page

Also, it would be nice to see the sentence each word was used in quoted directly.

Thank-you for the suggestions jO3. I'll look into the Twitter idea - I've never used it before, but probably a smart move.

As for the sentence, I'll be incorporating examples on occasion.

Cool. A similar project lists many of the words here: http://infinitejest.wallacewiki.com/david-foster-wallace/index.php?title=A
