Custom searches and shortcuts
Perform searches quickly and easily visit sites with a few keystrokes, from any browser. A public list is there to get you started, but it's more useful if you login and customize your own set of searches and direct links.

Using Xmarks or other available syncing options, custom searches are not synchronized between browsers. Shortmarks addresses this by allowing you to create custom searches and keyword shortcuts that can be used in any browser with custom search engine support (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera) or directly from the web site. It authenticates against your Google Account.

It's mainly aimed at users of keyword shortcuts in multiple browsers, but even if you use a single browser it permits the use of a single keyword to be used for both direct links and searches, and if you're not at your computer, you can access your searches from the web interface.

Feedback and comments are welcome.
