Crash! Bang! Wallow!
Retired stuntman Larry LeTan looks back over a life of rolling with the punches and falling through plate glass. A short film narrated by David Soul of Starsky & Hutch fame, directed by Jon Dunleavy and written by Luke Wright & myself.

This is in the running for a Cannes Film Festival-related award, so if you want it to win, you can vote by clicking the 'Like' button on YouTube. Or you can just, you know, watch it and let me know what you think.

This is awesome. If I had one wish, it would be that this was longer.

I agree – longer would be great. But have you ever seen the pained look an animator gives you when you start adding stuff to the script? I could happily have done another few minutes of poem, but I think at some point, Jon would have literally lost his mind.

I can't even imagine the patience it must take. I remember doing flip books as a kid and I think that animators must be a bit OCD.

Hearing his story in poem form, I think that it would be cool to see something like this acted out in live action with an older stuntman doing scaled back versions of the stunts from his prime. I guess then you trade the tedium of animation for the perils of having an older person doing stunts.
