Inspired by the lack of answers to my recent Ask Metafilter question (Is there an Apartment Therapy-like website for backyard inspiration?), I decided to start up a blog on my own.
The site is still brand new, of course -- I only have about a week's worth of content -- but the goal is to collect "tips, tricks, and ideas for an inspired backyard" from around the web. We'll be featuring content about everything "home outdoors" related: decks, fencing, gardening, landscaping, lighting, patios, and so on.
I also want the blog to be very community-driven, featuring submissions from readers and other backyard hackers from around the world. If you're interested in contributing (on any level, really) don't hesitate to drop me a line. Or if you did a cool backyard project you think the world should see, we'd love to feature it!
The blog also has a Twitter feed (syndicating post for now) and Flickr group, where you can join and dump photos of your yard to be featured as a Yard of the Day.

I like it - but it's making me miss summer and gardening something fierce. Joined the flickr group and added a photo
