Affiliates For Charity
It seems there aren't any well-known clearing houses for affiliate IDs belonging to charities. After asking the question over here, I decided to set up a few of domains, with a WordPress blog and see if I can find anyone who's interested in helping bring this project to fruition.

The main idea: Set up a clearing house for verified Affiliate ID's belonging to legitimate charity organizations.
Also potentially cool: I purchased the domain 4char.it, and would like to use it as a link-shortener.

Scenario: I copy a link to a book on Amazon, go to http://4char.it/y , drop the link into a form field and am presented with a list of charities who have verified Amazon affiliate IDs. I choose my charity and am presented with a shortened link in the form of http://4char.it/y?u3Rx .

So, now I'm looking for help and advice. Good idea, bad idea, thoughts, criticisms, volunteers?

To be perfectly clear, I'm not looking for Affiliate IDs that pay anyone but a legitimate charity money. So, none of these fundraising affiliate IDs, where the charity pays an affiliate a commission on people who sign up through their link. I'm also not looking to personally make any money off of this.
