Adventures in Subbing
In a recent question over at AskmeFi I was looking for blogs written by subs. I didn't find nearly as many as I wanted to that were still being updated. I'd been thinking about making this anyway, the lack of stuff just confirmed the fact that it needed to be done.

Right now I'm catching up on the past few months, which means some posts are a bit emptier than others.

I'd also love some feedback on what other things you'd like to see on here.

Interesting. Brings back memories of the 6 months of subbing I did post-grad school and pre-AuntieAnne's Pretzels (which was Pre-current-finally-job-in-my-major job)

I always liked the 1st to 4th graders. They thought I was old. The high-schoolers kept asking if I was a student...

Thanks for sharing

I'd be really careful about the kind of info and names that you share in the blog - you're pretty easy to identify and if I was a school administrator who came across the blog, I'd certainly make sure you never subbed at my school. I hope that doesn't happen, but I think its a pretty likely outcome.

I have to admit, I thought for sure that based on the title and the description, this blog would be about something completely different.

I second that, felix.

Thirded. I thought 'subeditor', then 'submissive' (you'd be called a 'supply teacher' in the UK).

So, it looks like the meaning of 'sub' is in the eye of the beholder - you might want to change the blog/category title to avoid reader disappointment!
