This is just to say...
I've been meaning to do this for a while - and have been half intending not to announce it in any way, letting people discover it themselves. But fuck all that, I'm a fame hungry whore and you are my dreadful stage.

As of the last 4 or 5 entries, I've directly asked the authors of the poems themselves if they're cool with me cross-posting. If you're one of those I've quoted and you're unhappy about it, drop me a line and I'll remove it.

At the risk of ruining something by explaining it: No it's not ironic. It really is both my favourite poem and my favourite, what?, meme? riff? in-joke? Whatever, this is a tiny little roadside shrine to those who've taken the time...

Also, (and I'm aware that this is entirely redundant), but please don't ruin the meme/riff/in-joke/whatever by over-saturating the market. thank you please.
