Bejewelings
JaiMahodara and I glue jewels to the world in an ongoing effort to make it shiny and beautiful, especially in places where it isn't. This is the blog we started to archive these bejewelings.

It started when a mutual good friend of ours, Cor, moved far, far away to another continent. Cor loves jewels, and together the three of us used to bejewel various objects. Because Jai and I now have only limited communication with our friend Cor, we decided to start this little project as a way to tell her we think of her often, while at the same time giving the public a little something to brighten their day.

The jewels are pretty easily removable, should someone protest. What has been interesting, however, is that in places where graffiti has been painted over or scrubbed off, our jewel has been left alone.

Eventually we'd like to turn the site into a Google map like format, where you can view markers where all jewels are located and then click the markers to see the photo.
