A few weeks ago, I saw imposster's post on projects, and was delighted by it; he's blogging one joke per day from a Victorian joke book, and I find them consistently entertaining -- some are funny, some are corny, and some are so weirdly inscrutable that I wonder what the hell Victorian references I'm not getting. Anyway, I created a funhouse-mirror blog to be read alongside his.

Interesting. You may wish to do something to distinguish this site from the one which inspired it. Otherwise it seems kinda mean. People will search for the real site and get yours.

I just misspelled some of the words in an effort to differentiate myself in search results; ideally, I'd like this site to be the Bizarro to the original's Superman.

For the bizarro effect, you should change the colors. Invert them totally, or just tweak them. Otherwise it feels more like Goofus and Galant.

I think this is a great idea. I would also agree that the colors should be wackily inverted to enhance the bizarro effect. For others who are interested, I also have another blog that posts entries from an 1857 humor book: Chit-chat of humor, wit, and anecdote.
