This really is impressive. Like msconduct, I also initially assumed that anyone with the time to make so much cool stuff must be a hipster student or a parentally supported slacker artiste. The fact that you do all this while holding down a serious job? Wow. Really cool. It's good to be reminded of all the creative, soul-nurturing alternatives to vegging out in front of the TV after a long, hard day.

Yep, I work a full time job at a startup. I don't think I would do all this crafting if it didn't really feel like work. There was a period of time where I was working 7 days a week at the beginning of the year and it was just nice to just have something I could actually finish everyday. It's way better than working on a company project and only having something to show for it from it after months of work.

I glided over the t-shirt dress and abstract art cupcake toppings but you began to get my attention at the anteater and cardinal cake toppings. I'd have to be ravenous to take a bite out such authentic looking creations. And you do this EVERY DAY ??!! Alison, you need to get syndicated. Good luck with the rest of the year. I've just spent a couple of days reading through the archives, and they're really wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the hand-drawn china and the cardinals vs penguins chess set. And tessellations! Who knew they were so easy to make?
