Save the 76 Ball! Since buying up the Union 76 stations, ConocoPhillips has been quietly pulling down the iconic orange and blue ball signs. Their new sign is flat, dull, has reduced visibility and is the wrong colors. Many of the 76 Balls are still intact, but threatened. Our petition and boycott campaign, launched by lovers of urban design and powered by Drupal, seeks to mobilize consumers to convince ConocoPhillips to protect the balls that remain. 76 Ball designer Ray Pedersen has just joined the movement, and so we humbly ask that you "Please help us save Ray's balls."
