Portable Film Festival
The Portable Film Festival means the best of new international releases, and the best of the user-generated web by the world’s most exciting and established filmmakers. Curated, direct and accessible to online audiences and portable devices, on your terms and on the go every day of the year…

All of our content is available to view for free, and download for free to iPods, PSPs, or 3G mobile phones! This year, the festival presented 162 films, including short film, music video, animation, online serial, cell-phone shooting, and feature film (all still available to view); At the moment, we’re doing a Road Movie showcase, free to view/free to download, featuring films, music videos and animation from all over the world, Brazil to Morocco, Sweden to Australia; and telling some stories off the beaten track.

Portable Film Festival is a film fest that you get to curate and take with you where you want, on your terms and on the go!

I like the content (great films), but the delivery is stifling me. I'd like to view these on my iPhone, but it seems that the default player is Flash. Is there a mobile version of the site I can use directly from my mobile or do I have to download the ipod versions of each film to my desktop first? A mobile version or iPhone app would make this all the more portable.

Other critique: your help pages simply link to sites for Apple, Sony and Wikipedia. Why not help us more directly?

This project is awesome, and is criminally underlooked as far as Projects go. I've just realised that on this lazy Sunday I've found something that's going to kill a lot of my time today, so I figure that to increase the exposure of your project, as well as make sure that I'm not the only one whose time gets chewed up by this thing today, I'm posting it to Metafilter.

Great job!
