Political Bumpers Political Bumpers is an unscientific study of the correlation between the cars Americans drive and the way we vote. Designated "spotters" scattered throughout the country record information about cars sporting political bumper stickers. Real-time reports are then available, detailing how types and makes of vehicles correspond to political leaning.
This project ran in 2004 and yielded some interesting results. Given the shift in attention given to envrionmental and economic issues since then, I'm looking forward to seeing how things shake out this time around.
